Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is known as a “quiet yet profound practice”
- It is a unique practice, expressing theories derived from Chinese medicine, Taoism, and the Hatha system of yoga.
Step into a Yin practice and you will:
- nurture your body with long holds,
- learn awareness of your breathing, and
- create a connection of communication between your body and your mind that only a practice of Yin can bring.
- Targeting deeper connective tissues, poses are explored for several minutes at a time to encourage the practitioner to become more familiar with their physical body and the meditative aspects of this practice.
