When we begin connecting with our Soul (higher self) on a regular basis, we learn how to embrace, befriend and accept the challenges that life presents us. In doing this we shine a much needed light on a part of ourself that is often difficult to meet because it sabotages our best efforts. This is our shadow-self, a part of us that carries our fears, our conditioning, our protective patterns and our emotional wounds and stories.
The problem isn’t our shadow self though – the problem is being unaware of it. Once we bring awareness to this part of us and learn to understand it – problems in our life find solutions. Pain finds some relief and our human find healing.
