What if nothing really is as it seems?
It is time for us to all step into curiosity.
What if…?
Last week, we learned how meditation can improve our physical, mental and emotional well-being and what if that is really what we all simply need to do? What if everything around us is simply an illusion; a projection of all our own individual perceptions? What if fear was just “false, evidence appearing real”? What if love really could change the world? What if…
This week, I ask you to align with your inner child and the awe-like curiosity of seeing through the eyes of a child.
Be curious;
- In your meditations and the thoughts that arise
- In your conversations with everyone today and listen with awe
- Notice different things as you drive to your destination today
- Notice color all around you
- Let your inner child take you on an adventure
- Express yourself through movement, dance, song and love
- Give everyone today, the benefit of the doubt
- Expect the best
Curiosity can bring radical understanding to any situation
It is time for us to tap into our;
- Sense of wonder and awe
- Imagination
- Sense of adventure
- Creativity
- Expression
- Healing
- Acceptance
Surrender to Wonder and Awe
Think of the experience of a new born child seeing the world for the first time. Bring out your inner child and be curious as to what she/he needs or wants.
For some of us, our inner child may need some healing, some understanding, some attention & listening. For some of us our inner child wants to come out and play, or go on an adventure. Time to tune into your inner child and do any or all of the following…
- Play
- Dance
- Love
- Forgive
- Sing
- Accept
- Express
- Hug
- Laugh
- Rebel
- Sit
- Listen
- Seek adventure
- Observe
- Nap
- Ask
- Rest
This week’s intention;
Bring out your inner child, tap into curiosity and see the world through the eyes of a child. It is like you are seeing, hearing and feeling everything for the very first time. Not needing answers, just opening to the awe and wonder of everything.
“Today, I bring curiosity into my day”
This means…
- Observing your thoughts, feelings & emotions and letting them be there. We are not our thoughts or emotions; we are the observer of the thoughts and emotions and we can observe them without attaching to them by drawing into curiosity.
- Stepping away from your routines and going with the flow.
- Letting go of all judgements (of yourself and others) and radically accepting that we are all different and have our own perceptions.
- Releasing your need to be right, dropping your defenses and being curious as to what others around you need.
- Tuning into all of your senses. (See, hear, sense & feel everything for the first time)
- Try something new.
- Listening to someone as they speak, without needing to fix anything for them.
- Being curious about what your body needs and simply doing what feels good for it.
- Releasing resentments, regrets & complaints and being curious about how life would be without these stories.
- Asking yourself “What if nothing really is as it seems?”
How else can you bring curiosity into your day?
Let’s Tap this in… & have a great week!
