Make Yourself a Top Priority This Summer and Watch Everything Shift

Is it time to let go of the sabotaging belief that prioritizing yourself is selfish?

If there’s even the smallest part of you that still believes other people’s needs should come first – or that you simply don’t deserve to prioritize your own well-being – then let me lovingly say this to you:

It is time to let that belief go.
Not just for your own sake, but for everyone and everything you care about.

Many of us have been conditioned to believe that self-sacrifice equals love. That putting ourselves last is noble. But here’s the deeper truth:

When you make you a priority, you create the energy, clarity and capacity to show up as your best self – for the people and commitments that matter most. And this week, that’s exactly where we’re headed.

We’re launching into our “Summer Lovin” personal development series inside the membership group – Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm (and yes, recordings are available if you can’t make it live or want to rewatch). This is all about reclaiming your energy, your joy, your clarity, and above all – yourself.

The first step? Prioritize YOU.

The Belief That Needs to Go

If you’ve ever felt guilty for taking time for yourself…
If you’ve ever held your tongue to avoid conflict, or swallowed your needs to keep the peace…
If you’ve ever found yourself emotionally depleted, physically exhausted, or quietly resentful…

You are not alone.
Most of us – especially those who’ve been conditioned to be caretakers, achievers, or peacemakers – have been there.

But here’s the reality:
When you don’t believe you’re worthy of your own time and energy, you eventually hit a wall.
And it doesn’t just hurt you – it strains your relationships, impacts your health and dims your inner light.

So, let’s flip the script:

You are not selfish for prioritizing yourself.
You are wise.
You are brave.
And you are ready.

Calling Back the Pieces of You

This month, we’re beginning to explore a powerful concept: calling back your Soul fragments.
What does that mean?

It means that every time you abandoned your needs to be accepted, gave away your power to avoid rejection, or lost yourself in grief, heartbreak, or obligation – you left behind a part of your energy in that story.

Now, it’s time to call those pieces home.
To lovingly gather up the parts of you that once felt lost, scattered, silenced, or unseen – and welcome them back into wholeness.

This begins by making yourself a top priority again.

If You’ve Ever Been Called “Selfish” …

If you start setting boundaries, speaking your truth, or saying no – and someone calls you selfish – here’s what they might really be saying:

“I want you to do what I want – and it doesn’t matter to me how it affects you.”

Harsh? Maybe.
But true? Often.

And here’s another truth:
You trained others how to treat you by not honoring yourself first. That’s not about blame – it’s about awareness. And from awareness comes change.

Not all relationships need to end – but the relationship with yourself must begin.

The Practice: Daily Self-Prioritization

Start your mornings with what I call The Discipline – a daily ritual that aligns you with your worth before the outside world can tell you otherwise:

  1. No screens first thing in the morning – go inward instead.
  2. Sit in silence (even 5 minutes changes everything)
  3. Place a hand on your heart – breathe deeply and check in with your heart, your body and your emotions. Send love and acceptance to all parts of you.
  4. Breathe deeply and name 3 things you’re grateful for.
  5. Move gently. Stretch and breathe deeply. Wake up inwardly.
  6. Set an intention for your day (and write it down).
  7. Hug yourself. Literally.

You’ve just tuned into your Spiritual Heart – the one that believes in your worth, your wholeness and your light.

This Week’s Intention:

  • Make yourself your #1 priority.
  • Tune in each morning before heading out.
  • Sign up for the upcoming Summer Lovin’ series.
  • Reclaim the energy you once gave away and bring it home to your heart.

This is what our Summer Lovin’ series is all about: coming home to you.

Let this be the summer you stop pouring from an empty cup, and instead, fill it so full it overflows with love, clarity and joy.
Not just for others – but first for you.

You are so worth it.

Namaste my friends;
Leslie 🙏💙
