There is a difference between who we have learned to be in this world… and who we are at the core of our being.
This week, I invite you to pause and gently consider a question that doesn’t need an immediate answer:
Do you know your Soul?
Not your personality. Not the roles you play. Not the version of you shaped by expectations, conditioning, or survival strategies.
Your Soul – your Spirit-self, your authentic self – is the part of you that exists beneath the noise. It is the part of you that does not judge, criticize, compare, or rush. It is a safe place to rest within yourself.
We are human and we are Soul. We are Souls living in human form with much to remember and many things to learn.
Our human self navigates the world – relationships, responsibilities, emotions and experiences. Our Soul is the deeper presence within us that remains steady, connected and whole. When we lose connection to this part of ourselves, life can feel heavy, confusing, or empty. When we reconnect, something softens. We feel more grounded, more present, and more at ease in our own skin.
In This World, But Not of This World
To be in this world but not of this world is simply understanding that we are more than our human tendencies and these human bodies. It means learning how to stay rooted in your body and navigate life – while allowing your Soul to lead.
It means noticing when the ego or personality becomes loud yet not pushing it away – choosing curiosity and compassion instead. It means grounding into the body, into the breath, into the present moment, so that you can feel fully – roar when needed – and eventually hear the quieter, calmer, loving voice within.
Getting to know your Soul is essential. Listening to and connecting with your Soul on a regular daily basis is the practice that will change your life.
Your Soul speaks and connects to you through:
- Nature
- Breathwork
- Laughter
- Creativity
- Stillness
- Presence
- A sense of flow or timelessness
Not through force. Not through striving – but through awareness. Your Soul will get lost in the busyness of life – the conscious practice of aligning, connecting and listening back into your Soul will bring you more moments of peace, presence, patience, joy, laughter, creativity and ultimately solutions to all of life’s challenges!
How do we align, connect and get to know our Soul, so we can listen to it’s wisdom?
A Gentle Check-In… This week, allow yourself to reflect – without pressure – on a few simple questions – so you can reconnect & get to know your Soul:
- What helps me move out of my head and back into my body?
- When was the last time I felt calm, creative, or deeply present?
- When do I feel most like myself?
- What brings me joy or quiet satisfaction?
- When do I lose track of time?
Not what you should enjoy. Not what you’ve been told matters. But what feels true for you.
Nurturing your Soul doesn’t require fixing or changing yourself. It begins with listening, feeling and honouring yourself.
Why Retreats Matter
One of the ways I reconnect with my own Soul is through retreat – stepping away from routine, distractions & roles and placing myself in environments that support connection, embodiment, stillness and presence.
Retreats create space to slow down, to feel, to ground, and to remember who you are beneath the layers. They offer an opportunity to experience connection – not ego to ego, but Soul to Soul – with yourself, with others and with something greater. They offer an opportunity to get to know your Soul.
I love facilitating retreats. My passion is inspiring myself and others to live our best life – Spiritually. Energetically. Emotionally. Mentally. Physically! Retreats are a fabulous way to do this – below are a few of my up-and-coming retreats. (click on each retreat below for more info)

Lunita Jungle Retreat – February 21–27, 2027 Puerto Morelos, Mexico…
This is not a luxury retreat in the traditional sense. Lunita is an eco-conscious, sacred jungle space designed to support deep reconnection with Mother Earth and the elements — earth, air, fire, water and the space all around us and within us.
At Lunita, the land itself becomes part of the experience. The elements invite you to slow down, to listen and to gently challenge yourself – not through force, but through presence. It is a remembering of who you are at your core, beyond the stories you’ve carried and the identities you’ve worn. Join me next Feb (2027) to this journey within.
I’ve personally just returned from attending a Retreat at Lunita. Two beautiful Souls (Kerri & Krista from Earth, Soul Revival Retreats) guided our group – straight from their hearts. Soul to Soul. With love, humour, connection, acceptance & adventure. In this environment, something softened. I connected to who I am beneath the roles. Beneath my human. I returned home to my heart.
This is the space in which you get to know your Soul – who you are at the core of your being. The challenge is to return to regular life and keep this connection within.
What I have come to know…
You don’t need to go anywhere to begin nurturing your Soul. Start where you are. Breathe. Listen. Be curious. Your Soul is already here – waiting patiently for your attention. Go within and listen.
Namaste my friends;
