Two Energies That Change Everything
There are two qualities that can have a profound and positive affect on the life you live. They are not easy to incorporate into the human experience though – but with awareness and intention – a shift can be made. These two energetic qualities are trust and acceptance.
We hear these words all the time “Trust the process” “Accept what is” “Let go” “Surrender” “Let them” Wouldn’t it be nice if we could simply step into these energetic concepts with ease?
They are both Spiritual practices, they are achievable and they do bring such a sense of peacefulness…. But to actually live them?
- To practice trust when life is uncertain…?
- To practice acceptance when reality doesn’t match what we hoped for…?
This is not easy to do. It requires courage. It requires vulnerability. It requires faith. It requires you to choose love over fear. One could even label these as Sacred and Spiritual acts!
It is my belief though, that this is what our world desperately needs more of right now.
Trust – The Root of Peace
Trust is the foundation. It’s the energetic ground beneath your feet.
It’s the quiet inner knowing that life is unfolding with intelligence, even when the human mind can’t see the full picture yet. Trust is not passive. It’s not naive. It is not pretending everything is fine. It’s a deep, embodied belief that:
“There is order here, even if I do not see it or understand it yet.”
When you tap into trust, your nervous system softens and fear begins to loosen its grip. When you stop gripping so tightly onto outcomes and timelines – something miraculous happens – things begin to unfold in their own divine intelligent order. This requires intention, patience and a sense of curiousness. What if the Universe really is trying to send you something better but you keep blocking it because you’re holding on so tightly to a particular outcome? Hmmm…
Trust allows you to ground into the present moment and simply breathe. Trust whispers:
- “I am safe.”
- “I am supported.”
- “Life is guiding me – not punishing me.”
- “There is a divine and intelligent purpose to this situation.”
When you root into trust, you shift from pushing to allowing and from fear to awareness. It is here, that you can trust in the unknown. If the unknown scares you – know it isn’t the unknown you are afraid of – you’re scared of the thoughts your brain is putting in the unknown. There is a big difference. When you realize you are creating your own concerns – you can shift yourself from fear into awareness, and from there into trust.
Acceptance – The Crown of Freedom
Acceptance is the energy that will open you up. It’s spacious, clear and deeply liberating. Most of your suffering doesn’t come from what’s happening – it comes from your resistance to what’s happening.
It comes from:
- wishing it was different
- clinging to how we think it “should have been”
- fighting with reality
- trying to control outcomes
Acceptance is not giving up. Acceptance is aligning with the truth of the moment so you can respond with clarity instead of react with fear.
It says: “I am willing to meet this moment as it is – without needing it to change first.”
There is so much grace, peace and maturity in acceptance. Acceptance doesn’t close your heart – it frees it. It softens your edges. It dissolves resentment. It heals your mind. It clears the fog of expectation.
And in that clearing… you can finally see your life again.
When Trust and Acceptance Meet
Trust roots you.
Acceptance opens you.
Together, they create something extraordinary:
An open compassionate heart
A quieter mind
A grounded presence
And a deep connection to something greater than yourself.
When these two energies are alive in you:
- You stop forcing your life.
- You stop fighting reality.
- You stop gripping the steering wheel with white knuckles.
- You stop trying to control every outcome.
Instead, you begin to live from a different place:
A place of “I know I’m going to be okay.”
A place of “I don’t need all the answers right now.”
A place of “Everything is unfolding for my highest good, even if I can’t see it yet.”
And from this place, the heart opens. The mind softens. The body relaxes. You tap into your true nature. You begin to think with your heart and love with your mind. And you remember… You are connected to something bigger. You are allowed to let go. When you let go and trust the process – you feel you are being guided towards a better plan.
The Human Struggle – and the Soul’s Invitation
As humans, we cling. We want certainty. We want timelines. We want guarantees. But as Souls, we thrive in the unknown. We flourish in surrender. We expand in trust.
This is your invitation right now:
- Practice trusting what you cannot yet see.
- Practice accepting what is already here.
- Soften your resistance to “what is.”
- Unclench your heart.
- Breathe into the unknown.
It’s not easy. It takes strength. It takes courage. It takes deep vulnerability. But you are capable of this – we all are! Life can and will shift profoundly, when trust and acceptance become the way you meet each moment.
An Affirmation for Your Week
I repeated this affirmation below to myself at a time in my life when I had no choice but to trust the Universe – I had done all I could in a situation and it was no longer up to me. I surrendered it to the Universe and then simply focused my intention on my belief system and my faith in “something better” and now whenever life gets crazy for me and I begin to lose sight of the bigger picture – I go back to this affirmation – I repeat these words and let them settle into my body & my mind. These words and the belief in them have served me well 😊And I would like to share them with you…
“I know, I trust and I believe that the best-case scenarios in all areas of my life are unfolding for me now, in totally satisfying and harmonious ways for the greater good of everyone concerned.”
Read it again. Say it out loud. Feel it. Feel it deeper. Let it anchor you.
Trust.
Accept.
Be present.
This is where peace begins
Namaste my friends;
