Release complaints and align within instead
There’s a quiet power in asking yourself this simple question:
“What frequency am I living in right now?”
Every thought, word, emotion and action carry a vibration. Some are heavy, draining and exhausting. Others are expansive and light. The more we become aware of the heavy energy we carry – and take responsibility for them – the more empowered, peaceful, and connected we feel.
And one of the most common ways we unknowingly lower our vibration…
Complaining
Complaining Is a Frequency and It’s a Heavy One
Whether it’s about your partner, the weather, your body, or something that “shouldn’t” be happening – complaining tends to:
- Focus on what’s wrong, not what’s possible
- Blame others (or even ourselves) for our discomfort
- Place conditions on love and acceptance:
“You need to change before I can feel peace or love you.”
And while it might feel satisfying in the moment, over time, complaining traps us in a low emotional frequency – one tied to powerlessness, resentment and victimhood.
But here’s the truth:
You don’t have to be a victim of these circumstances. Instead be the creator of your energy frequency.
When you complain, you leak heavy energy out and this lower your frequency.
When you take aligned, loving action (described below) – you increase your frequency. This is a shift in energy that feels expansive and light.
How do you make this shift? I give many tips in the talk above – this is a big topic though – I addressed mostly how frequency works, how we can raise our own frequency if we can’t do anything about the situation and I offered you a challenge. What I didn’t address was how you can take steps every morning to shift into a frequency for yourself that has nothing to do with anyone or anything else…
Ground Yourself to Shift Your Frequency
The Earth herself teaches us this.
Her frequency – known as the Schumann Resonance – vibrates at approximately 7.83 Hz. This calm, healing energy of Mother Earth supports our nervous system, restores balance and tunes us into our true nature. Loving, peaceful, connected and whole.
Taking a few minutes each morning to ground yourself – feet on the Earth, breath into your belly, come into your heart – feel present with your body – stay here for 5 minutes – this will align you with the earths natural rhythm of peace and clarity. From this place, you can choose how you want to respond to life.
Taking Aligned Action from a Loving Place – what does this mean?
Taking action from an aligned place is never about ignoring your feelings. It is about feeling them fully and completely. Once felt – it’s about choosing a response that aligns with your Soul (your higher self) – the part of you rooted in clarity, compassion, and unconditional love. When emotions and feelings aren’t fully felt – your lower (unware ego) self responds with judgement and criticism rooted in conditioned fear.
Notice & Pause
When you catch yourself about to complain – even just in your thoughts – pause.
This moment right here is the doorway to transformation.
Instead of judging or pushing past it, be brave enough to get curious.
Ask yourself gently:
- Where do I feel this in my body?
- What emotion is underneath the complaint – frustration, disappointment, fear, sadness?
- What is this feeling trying to show me or protect me from?
- What can I learn from this?
We often complain not because we’re bad or negative – but because we’re feeling unseen, unsafe, or disconnected. And rather than tending to that truth, the ego speaks up with criticism, control, or blame. There is no solution or resolution in this.
But when you pause and truly feel the emotion in your body – you begin to digest it. You begin to see beyond the complaints of the unaware ego.
This is key.
Feel it fully. Let it move.
Emotion = energy in motion. When you allow your feelings to exist without resisting them or reacting from them, they shift. They soften. They release. This is the process of unlearning old patterns of blame and learning to take courageous responsibility for your feelings. When you no longer allow yourself to fall into the victim mentality of complaining and instead step into the power of owning your story – you can then take aligned action from a loving place.
Once you’ve paused, grounded yourself, felt and become present with the emotion, you now have space to ask:
- “What needs of mine are not feeling met?”
- “What boundary of mine has been crossed?”
- “What wounds wiuthin me has been activated?”
- “Is this important for me to express?”
- “What can I learn about myself here?”
- “What would love do?”
- “What would the compassionate, honest, aligned version of me choose next?”
Aligned action from a loving place looks like:
- Speaking clearly but kindly instead of venting or blaming
- Setting a boundary that honours both yourself and the other
- Choosing acceptance instead of resistance
- Taking time to breathe or walk instead of lashing out
- Asking for what you need with vulnerability, not control
- Soothing your inner child instead of criticizing her
It doesn’t mean being passive or overly “nice.” It may mean a difficult conversation needs to be had and when that conversation is ready to unfold – it means acting and speaking from the frequency of your Soul – not your survival self.
The unaware ego reacts in fear.
The Soul-higher self responds from love.
And every time you make this shift – even just once in your day – you raise your frequency, you reclaim your energy and you come back into alignment with the truth of who you really are.
“Aligned action from a loving place” feels like relief, release and truth. No matter how the other person reacts or how the situation unfolds from there. It’s the kind of choice you feel proud of – even if no one else sees it.
The 21-Day No Complaining Challenge
You’re invited to try something simple and transformational:
For 21 days, notice every time you catch yourself complaining – about others, the world, your body, your past, or even yourself.
Each time:
- Pause.
- Feel where the energy lives in your body.
- Ask: Can I shift this with action or acceptance?
- Respond from love.
This challenge is not about perfection. It’s about presence.
It’s a commitment to yourself – to raise your frequency and align with your Soul.
Final Words
You deserve to live in a frequency that reflects your truth – not your fear.
You don’t have to fix everything. You don’t have to force joy. You only have to be willing to meet each moment with honesty, compassion and courage.
That’s the work of real transformation – and it’s available to you now – if you want it.
